Lebowa Platinum Mine economic impacts study

In order to understand better the wider economic impacts of Anglo American's activities, a study was conducted at Lebowa Mine in South Africa in 2006. Kenton Kirkwood, a post-graduate student of the Tanaka Business School of Imperial College, conducted the research (which contributed to his MBA course requirements) using a template developed by the International Council on Mining and Metals to assess mine economic impacts, A copy of Kenton's dissertation is provided.
